MOSFET switches maintain
performance at lower cost
The 170 Series optically coupled MOSFET switches offer the same performance
as the company's standard ICs but at a lower price. The devices are available
in single-pole, double-pole, Form A/B, and multiple-switch configurations.
Specifications include a 2-mW drive power, a 50-ohm on-resistance,
and a 100-mA load current rating. The devices offer 3,750 Vrms of input-to-output
isolation and are UL and CSA recognized, as well as BSI certified. Packaging
is in DIPs and SOPs. (XCA170 single-pole normally-open, $1.08 ea/10,000–available
now.)
