MOSFETs boast low FOM

Well suited for use in PCs, consumer devices, HID lighting, lamp ballasts, and computer servers, CoolMOS CP 500-V power MOSFETs have an FOM as low as 6.7 for reduced conduction and switching loss and increased efficiency. Additional features include a switching speed of 50 V/ns.

The 140 to 520-mW parts are available in TO-220 and TO-220FP packages, and the 140 to 299-mW devices in a D2-PAK package. (From $1.35 ea/1,000—available now.)
