Five 600–V SupreMOS MOSFETs combine low RDS(on) and total gate charge to provide a 40% lower figure of merit than the company’s earlier-version MOSFETs. These features enable power supplies to meet Energy Star 80 PLUS Gold classification for desktop PCs and Platinum classification for servers.
These MOSFET devices, the 165-mΩ-maximum FCP22N60N, FCPF22N60NT and FCA22N60N, and the 199-mΩ-max FCP16N60N and FCPF16N60NT offer best-in-class reverse-recovery characteristics di/dt and dv/dt targeting reliability for resonant converter, LLC, and phase-shifted full-bridge topologies. Compared to SuperFET MOSFETs, they deliver 20% less switching and conduction losses than earlier-version MOSFETs. They offer breakdown voltages from 500 to 1,000 V. (Ea/1,000: FCP16N60NT and FCPF16N60NT, $1.50; FCP22N60N and FCPF22N60NT, $1.60; FCA22N60N, $1.80 — available now.)
