The IRF6811 and IRF6894 are part of the DirectFETplus power MOSFET family that suits 12-V input synchronous-buck applications including next-generation servers, desktops, and notebooks. They also improve efficiency by 2%.
The IRF6811 MOSFET, available in a small can, features 2.8-mΩ RDS(on) at 10 V, and a gate charge (QG) of 11 nC. The IRF6894, offered in a medium can has a 0.9-mΩ RDS(on) at 10-V, and 29-nC gate charge. The IRF6894 also features a monolithically integrated Schottky that reduces losses associated with body diode conduction and reverse recovery.
