The STR750-MCKIT ARM7-based motor control development kit aids the rapid development of high-performance vector-control applications, using both permanent-magnet synchronous motors and three-phase ac induction motors, for cost-sensitive appliance, industrial, and HVAC applications. Built around a 32-bit STR750 microcontroller, the kit includes all necessary firmware and hardware—including a 24-Vdc permanent-magnet motor for initial evaluation.
Optimized and fully documented C firmware libraries for controlling both motor types are provided. The kit’s flash microcontroller supports full-spec 54-MIPS (at 60 MHz) operation at both 3.3 and 5 V, and includes a PWM timer that is synchronized with a high-speed A/D converter.
