Motor control unit handles up to 18 A

The SmartFan Nimbus-HP TRIAC based fan, pump, and motor control is microprocessor-based designed to control induction motors (shaded pole or permanent split capacitor) that have been approved for voltage control by the motor manufacturer. The unit operates from 85 to 300 Vac single-phase at 47 to 64 Hz with an output current rating of 18 A.

Motor speed can be based on an analog control signal (4 to 20 mA, 2 to 10 Vdc) or temperature at up to three remote sensors. The 5 x 5.5-in. device is RoHS compliant and is available open frame or with a steel cover. (From $73.30 — available now.)
