Motor drive kit is base for hwr/swr development

The Zynq Intelligent Drives Kit II (AES-ZIDK2-ADI-G) provides a platform for motor control and industrial networking development. Based on an Avnet ZedBoard, the kit combines the Xilinx Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC with dual-core Cortex-A9, with the Analog Devices AD-FMCMOTCON2-EBZ servo module with precision data converters, 20 MHz Σ-Δ modulators, digital isolation, and isolated half-bridge driver.

The kit will drive two BLDC/PMSM/brushed-DC/stepper motors up to 48 V at 20 A. It uses sensored or sensoreless position measurement with encoder support including BISS, EnDAT, Hall sensor, and resolver. It has a 24 V brushless DC motor, Hall sensors and an encoder, an 8 Gbyte SD card with application software, and Ethernet, HDMI, and micro USB cables, plus a power supply. From $1,950.
