Motor pre-drivers target automotive/safety

The DRV3202Q, DRV3203Q, and DRV3204Q are FET pre-driver ICs designed for 3-phase motor control in applications such as oil or water pumps. They have PWM frequencies up to 20 kHz and three high-side and three low-side FET drivers which are controlled by an external MCU. They aid designers in meeting functional safety requirements.

The power for the high side is supplied by a charge pump and no bootstrap capacitor is needed. Diagnostics are built in and a current-sense amplifier and comparator allow for current monitoring. The DRV3202 has a CAN interface and all three devices use an SPI port for setup. Priced from $2.80 ea/100.
