The DXH15 -10-000A outer-member rotating BLDC motor targets the high-accuracy requirements of a variety of industrial scanning applications. The motor has a proprietary Hall commutation circuit, precision ball bearings, shaft run-out of only ±0.010 in., and reliable operation at speeds in excess of 11,000 rpm.
Just 1.5 in. in diameter and 1.0 in. in length, the device gives a peak torque of 10 oz-in. and continuous torque of 3 oz-in. Power usage is 94 W peak, and the motor weighs 4.8 oz. (Approximately $100 ea/production qty — samples available now.)
