Murata Wireless Solutions SyNode SN8200 Embedded Wi-Fi Network Controller Module is a self-contained, certified Wi-Fi network controller module that provides simple serial-to-Wi-Fi connectivity. The SN8200 integrates micro-controller, Wi-Fi BB/MAC/RF IC, RF front end, flash memory, clocks, and on-board antenna into a small form factor module that addresses the connectivity demand in M2M applications. The SyNode SN8200 module can be controlled by a host device through a serial interface or it can serve as a stand-alone Wi-Fi station or network controller. The SN8200 provides standard IEEE802.11 b/g/n functions and its integrated MCU supports Broadcom WICED™ software. The SN8200 Wi-Fi module can be used with SN3020 Zigbee module to form a Zigbee/Wi-Fi gateway.
