Epson's S5U13781 BoosterPack LCD Development Package, for use with TI Stellaris LM4F120 LaunchPad is developed for evaluating and developing embedded LCD display applications using the Epson S1D13781 LCD Controller. A leader in embedded processors, TI has developed the Stellaris LM4F120 LaunchPad Evaluation Board to provide a low-cost evaluation platform for its new ARM Cortex™-M4F-based LM4F Series microcontrollers with floating point and a wide range of capabilities and peripherals.
Epson's BoosterPack LCD Development Package includes a reference board set and signal adapter board set. The reference board includes the S1D13781 controller, 2Mbytes of serial flash, and a DC/DC converter for LED backlight. The signal adapter board set consists of three break-off boards: a host interface adapter, an LCD signal adapter (40-pin), and an LCD signal adapter (54-pin). As a combined solution, the bundled components, downloadable guides, and software are an excellent kit for design engineers, students and hobbyists seeking a no-hassle source for evaluating and developing embedded LCD display solutions using the Epson S1D13781 LCD Controller and the TI Stellaris LM4F MCU.
