October 9, 2012 — Mouser Electronics, Inc. announced it is stocking the FRDM-KL25Z, a new ultra-low-cost evaluation and development platform from Freescale Semiconductor suitable for use with the KL1 And KL2 Kinetis L series MCU’s built on the ARM Cortex-M0+ core.
Freescale FRDM-KL25Z Freedom Hardware Board features the Freescale KL25Z Kinetis L Series ARM Cortex-M0+ 32-bit microcontroller. FRDM-KL25Z includes the MKL25Z128VLK4 MCU with 128KB flash, 16KB SRAM, up to 48MHz operation, and a USB full-speed controller. FRDM-KL25Z offers flexible power supply options, a reset button, and expansion IO compatible with the Arduino Uno form factor. This Freescale evaluation board also features OpenSDA sophisticated USB debug interface, tri-color LED, a capacitive touch “slider,” and a Freescale MMA8451QR1 accelerometer.
