March 21, 2013 – Mouser Electronics, Inc. today announced that it is supporting the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association Conference (ECEDHA) and ECExpo 2013 through a Diamond Partnership. The conference occurs March 22-26 in Orlando, Florida.
The ECEDHA Annual Conference and ECExpo is the largest gathering of Electrical and Computer Engineering department heads or chairs from universities throughout the United States and Canada. Each year, ECEDHA members come together to discuss the most pressing issues facing academia and ECE today. The conference will feature the latest advances in technology and presentations from leaders in industry and academia.
Hosted by the University of Central Florida, this year’s program will provide an invaluable opportunity for serious discussion, idea exchange, best practice solutions, and enjoyable networking within the university community and with industry-leading corporations. The program was developed by the ECEDHA Annual Conference Planning Committee to be sure that the session content focuses on the most relevant and current topics. Nearly 40 industry leaders will be on hand to demonstrate the latest ECE technologies available during ECExpo and to provide in-depth product overviews during ECE Spotlight sessions.
The conference will be at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel where Hayne Shumate, Mouser Vice President of Internet Business, will participate in an industry round table discussion with other top executives on preparing today’s engineering students for the future from 3:30-5 p.m. on March 23. Coby Kleinjan, Mouser’s Director of Special Accounts, will present an Exhibitor Spotlight Session on sourcing components for university-level engineering programs at 11 a.m. on March 24.
