MU-MIMO WiFi ICs offer even higher performance

The QCA9984 and QCA9994 802.11ac Wave 2 ICs provide Multi-User Multi-Input/Multi-Output (MU-MIMO) WiFi and support for 160 MHz channels with 4×4 antenna configurations. The QCA9984 targets home routers, the QCA9994 enterprise access points.

802.11ac Wave 2 is an addendum to the original wireless specification that advances MU-MIMO technology to increase theoretical maximum speeds from 3.47 Gbits/s to 6.93 Gbits/s. The ICs have bandwidth agility that allows the radio to move seamlessly between channel widths on a packet-by-packet basis and achieve greater spectrum efficiency and throughput. The QCA9994 also supports 5/10 MHz narrow channels for public safety applications.
