TE Connectivity’s HARTMAN current sensor delivers high performance and safety, providing up to five unique combinations in one 10-pin configurable and rugged package. The 5-in-1 current sensor reduces the need for additional protective devices by combining multiple features into one part.
Military and commercial aircraft users can maintain their trip curve over the temperature range while receiving the system’s current status and trip status. Applications include power distribution, load shedding, reverse-current protection, and circuit protection for commercial and business jets, helicopters, and ground vehicles.
The HARTMAN current sensor meets the stringent requirements of DO-160G.
The programmable current sensor features 200-A, 300-A, and 400-A thermal breaker trip times, reverse load detection/trip, and the ability to turn off the thermal breaker whenever needed. The sensor maintains the same trip-curve characteristics as the thermal breaker, adding built-in overload detection status and overcurrent protection on the coil current.
