The MPG series dc/dc power supplies are based on the PCMD250W and PCMD400W dc/dc converters. The series is available with two to five plug-in positions (MPG2, MPG3, MPG4, MPG5) offering 250 or 400 W converters for a total output power of 500 to 2,000 W. They suit dc mains for transportation, telecommunications and the charging of lead batteries during standby parallel operation.
The convection-cooled dc/dc supplies use input voltage ranges from 14.4 to 154 Vdc, and supply output voltages from 12 to 110 Vdc. The system can be switched into an energy-saving standby operation via a remote control input.
