Multi-power supply systems suit dc-mains applications

The dc/dc power supply systems of the MPG series are designed for supply of electrical applications from dc-mains for transportation, telecommunications and the charging of lead batteries during stand-by parallel operation. The universal modular and easy-to-scale system is based on the dc/dc converters of the series PCMD250W and PCMD400W.

The dc/dc series is available with 2 to 5 plug-in positions (MPG2, MPG3, MPG4, MPG5) for the 250 W or 400 W converters and a total output power of 500 to 2.000 W. The input voltage range extends from 14.4 and 154 Vdc. The devices supply output voltages between 12 and 110 Vdc. The system can be switched into an energy-saving stand-by operation via a remote control input. The system is convection cooled and operates from -40° to +70°C.
