Multichip LEDs offer 2x brightness in same area as existing chips

The LE RTDUW S2WP Ostar Stage LED features four high-power chips with the thin-film and UX:3 technologies in red, green, blue and white. Providing 2x brightness with no increase in package size, this LED is suitable for use in stage spotlights. The four chips of can be operated at up to 2.5 A.

These 1 mm² LED chips provide an output of 30 W and now covers outputs between 15 and 60 W, with the 60 W coming from a previously released version. The beam angle is 120 degrees. The LEDs will be available from Q1/2016 in high volumes.
