Multilayer chip inductors target EMI

The multilayer chip bead inductors BKP1005 (1.0 x 0.5 x 0.5 mm) and BKP0603 (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.3 mm) are used to combat noise in the power and signal circuits of small mobile devices. The chips DCR has been reduced by about 17% over previous devices.

For example, the BKP1005EM221 with an impedance of 220 Ω is rated for 1000 mA with a DC resistance of 0.150 Ω. Impedance is measured at 100 MHz and operating range is -55° to 85°.
