With a −20˚ to 800C measurement range, the TP8 thermal imager acts as a 384 × 288-pixel IR camera, 1,280 × 1,024-pixel color visual camera, and Bluetooth voice recorder. The unit, whose thermal resolution is 45% higher than the standard thermographic cameras, lets users take both thermal and visual images with one press of the shutter and save them in a single file with a 30-s voice recording.

The camera can record dynamic radiometric sequences of moving targets in real-time and store up to 1,000 images on a 2-Gbit card.
