The Roadie Tuner is the first of its kind, allowing musicians to tune their string-instruments faster and more accurately with a robotic device. Hook the 5×8 cm. gizmo to any of your guitar's peg, strum a string, and watch Roadie work its musical magic. On Roadie's website, it claims that it is three times more efficient than the human ear, having an accuracy of 2 cents and a range of 55 Hz (A1) to 880 Hz (A5).
The tuner has a LiPo rechargable battery that has the capability of tuning 6,000 strings on one single charge. When Roadie runs out of charge, power it back up with Micro-USB charging.
Users can customize their tuning experience by creating their own tuning sounds; through the app, each string can be tuned higher or lower depending on personal preference. Roadie also enables you to change to alternate tunings, such as Drop-D. Running algorithms that are on the device will eliminate all background noise, and tune the instrument precisely.
