The aggressive launch of the vehicle allows it to achieve a staggering 1.2 Gs of force, enough to take an iPhone out of one passenger’s hand and actually make it stick against the back seat of the car as the car's speed climbs.

For those unfamiliar, the 4,936-lb Tesla Model S P85D is equipped with two motors that have a combined output of 691 hp during a recent dyno test, dragtimes.com — the site responsible for this video — recorded 864 lbs of torque.

Also, the vehicle recently set a world record for being the fastest production electric car, completing one quarter of track mile in 11.6 seconds at a speed of 115 mph. Some other features worth noting: the Environmental Protection Agency rates the car’s energy consumption rate, with its 85-kWh battery, at 237.5 Wh per kilometer — a combined fuel economy of approximately 89 miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent.

The Agency has given the car a range of 265 miles when equipped with a fully charged battery.
