For analyzing interference in the 2.4-GHz band, the Wi-Spy 2.4x USB-based spectrum analyzer offers three times the frequency resolution, three times the amplitude resolution, and twice the amplitude range of previous versions.
The unit works with an external RP-SMA antenna over ranges of 2,400 to 2,495 MHz and 110 to −6.5 dBm, providing resolutions of 328 kHz and 0.5 dBm and sweep time of ~165 ms. Chanalyzer 2.1 PC-compatible software is included. ($399 available now.)
