NEC LCD Technologies to Launch Two New TFT LCD Modules Suitable for Portable Information Devices

NEC LCD Technologies, Ltd. announced new LCDs are extremely suitable for installation in various portable devices such as personal digital assistants (PDAs) and portable GPS terminals as they can reproduce colors clearly and vividly even in indoor/outdoor environments with high ambient light.

By further optimization of optical design based on NEC LCD Technologies' own unique super-reflective natural light TFT (SR-NLT) technology, NL2432HC22-41B realizes both a high luminance of 200cd/m2 and a high reflective ratio of 15%. Furthermore, NL2432HC17-04B boasts the highest level of reflective ratio in the category of the transflective LCD modules of the same size and resolution at 35%.
