Network appliance unit features low power

The CAD-0205 desktop network appliance uses an Atom N450 processor and supports four GbE ports, two pairs of bypass segments, and up to 2 Gbytes of DDR2 667 non-ECC memory. It serves as a great basis for network security, anti-spam, network management, and wireless controller applications.

Other features including one RJ45 console port, dual USB ports, one Mini PCIe slot, and VGA support. The 7.7 x 5.9 x 1.6-in. unit needs no fan and has a maximum power consumption of just 30 W. (From $379 — samples available now; production 2nd qtr.)
