The PL-80380 network platform targets Internet security applications for the SOHO, SMB (small medium business), and ROBO (remote office, branch office) markets. The 9.4 x 6.0 x 1.6-in. unit uses a QorIQ P1015E/P1024E processor with 512 Mbytes of DDR3 RAM with 1 Gbyte optional.
The device has two GbE ports with bypass function and four GbE switch ports. Optional Wi-Fi support is provided. The back panel has a USB 2.0 and a console port. A bay is provided for a slim-type 2.5-in. SATA HDD, and there is one mini-PCIe slot. (From $268 ea/300 — available now.)
