The PL-80390, network security platform uses a Freescale QorIQ P1010 processor for Internet systems. The device supports applications such as firewall, SPAM filtering, VPN, UTM, gateway, router, and internet services in small/home office and small/branch business situations, using dual RJ45 GbE ports.
The 8.5 x 6.8 x 1.7-in. unit’s back panel has USB 2.0 ports, and a console port for local system management. The unit has four GbE switch ports (SGMII), and up to 1 Gbyte of DDR3 RAM. A 2.5-in.
