Networking unit has Core2 CPU, 14 GbE ports

The PL-80230 1U rackmount networking platform supports services with a choice of Core2 Duo, Core2 Quad or more economical Pentium and Celeron processors. The unit has two unbuffered and non-ECC DDR3 800/1066 MHz DIMM sockets for up to 4 Gbytes of memory.

The system features a 3.5-in. SATA HDD and CompactFlash card, with PCI Express x8, with one mini PCI socket and one PCI expansion slot. It has six GbE ports, expandable to 14 — all available on the front-panel — and dual USB 2.0 ports, one RJ-45 console port, and LED indicators. ($554 ea/OEM qty — evaluation units available now.)
