As we near the anticipated launch of the iPhone 7, leaked photos and videos for the device continue to unveil.
In the most recent photos we’ve seen, the iPhone 7 is a 4.7 inch model with a larger camera, redesigned antenna lines, and is missing the headphone jack. Looking at it, the most glaring difference is the redesigned antenna lines. Instead of being placed across the body horizontally like on the iPhone 6 and 6s, the antennas on the iPhone 7 are located at the top and bottom curved edges of the device.
Additionally, the antennas themselves look smaller and sleeker. It’s as if Apple wants the phone to look like the antennas aren’t even there. The new look emphasizes the aluminum material of the device’s body – the only things present on the back now are the Apple logo, camera, and flash.
And by making the antennas sleeker, that leaves more room for the camera hole, which appears to be bigger. It is approximately 25 percent wider in diameter in comparison to the iPhone 6 and 6s. A larger camera hole indicates that a significant upgrade in camera quality can be expected. However, we won’t know until specifications until Apple releases them.
The company is expected to officially unveil the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus during its annual event in September.
