Next-gen ECP4 FPGAs up performance profile

Featuring up to 250 KLUTs that operate 30% faster than the previous version and cost less, the LatticeECP4 FPGA family steps up to higher-performance applications. The ICs come in six versions starting at 30 KLUTs and have 1.2 to 10.6 Mbytes of memory, 1,066-Mbit DDR3 memory interfaces, and up to 576 DSP blocks 7x the previous version.

Next-gen ECP4 FPGAs up performance profile

The chips up their communication profile with sixteen 6-Gbit/s SERDES channels that take less than 175 mW each and forty 1.25-Gbit/s CDRs. They feature MACO lower-power hard-IP communication engines for many protocols, including SRIO 2.1, PCIe 2.1, and 10G Ethernet. The devices are available in 485 to 1,152-pin low-cost wire-bond or flip-chip BGA packages. (ECP4-130, $20 ea/100,000 — samples 2nd qtr 2012.)
