The PNA-X Nonlinear Vector Network Analyzer (NVNA) has been expanded to 67 GHz, and a 67-GHz phase-reference calibration standard configured to work with the instrument is also available. With the addition, designers can characterize and model both linear and nonlinear behavior of components accurately up to 67 GHz, measuring X-parameters to provide accurate high-frequency wide-bandwidth models.
The calibration standard enables accurate and traceable nonlinear measurements, generating a comb of frequencies from 10 MHz to 67 GHz with a known cross-frequency phase relationship traceable to NIST. (NVNA extension option 510, $37,512; calibration standard, $23,007 — available now.)
