NOR flash ICs have up to 1-Gbit capacity

The N25Q SPI NOR flash memory family offers fast quad I/O with 54 Mbyte/s read transfer rate at 108 MHz clock and 500 Kbyte/s program speed. The ICs run on a 1.8- or 3-V power supply and feature execute-in-place capability with code execution directly from the flash.

The devices have 10-year long-term commitment and footprint compatibility across the entire line, from 32 Mbit to 1 Gbit. (Prices not yet available production 4th qtr.)
