OC, OT protection available in 0603 device

Available in an industry-standard 0603 device, the femtoSMDC016F PolySwitch device consumes less than half the board space of prior-generation devices and helps protect sensitive electronics from damage caused by overcurrent and overtemperature events. The device’s fast time-to-trip and resettable function targets portable products.

The resettable PolySwitch device measures 1.6 x 0.8 x 0.5 mm, is rated at 9 V, and provides a hold-current of 0.16 A, a maximum fault current rating of 40 A, and a maximum resistance of 4.2 Ω.
