The 74LVC CMOS logic family now includes octal devices, provided in space-saving QFN and TSSOP 20-pin packages. These include buffer/line drivers, transceivers, latches and flip-flops.
For example, the 74LVC540A octal inverting buffer/driver is designed for driving bus lines or buffer memory address registers. LVC devices support a power supply range of 1.65 to 3.6 V, with inputs tolerant of voltages up to a maximum of 5.5 V. $0.082 each in single reel quantities of 2.5k.
