OLED pushbutton switches double display life
The display life of the OLED SmartSwitch pushbutton switches have been doubled to 30,000 hours with 40% pixels on at 100 ccd/m2 ). For equipment used 24/7, this translates to a display life of greater than three years. In addition, the power consumption is reduced to 3.8 mA which is 30% lower than the previous product.
The SmartSwitch pushbutton devices feature a traditional SPST pushbutton with a built-in OLED display all in one device. The switches are emissive devices operated by commands and data supplied via the SPI communications protocol. They are capable of 64 RGB x 48-pixel resolution. The wide viewing area of the OLED pushbutton is 15.5 x 11.6 mm (horizontal x vertical). It also has epoxy-sealed straight PC terminals and a snap-in standoff.
