The VCT-Premium third-generation flat-panel TV processor provides a single-chip solution for full HD 1080p products. The chip yields audio, video, Teletext, OSD, and controller-related functionalities, plus memory and program ROM, and a dual-input HDMI receiver.
The IC provides state-of-the-art color processing for PAL or NTSC and can accept content with the new extended color space xvYCC. With a companion chip, it can smoothly increase the frame rate from 24 f/s to as fast as 120 fps at full HD resolution.
