Op amp delivers lowest distortion

Maximizing signal chain performance for wireless base stations, high-speed data acquisition, test and measurement, medical imaging, and defense applications, the THS770006 op amp delivers 16-bit full-scale precision up to 200 MHz IF. The part provides an OIP3 of 48 dBm and the lowest distortion in its class, with an IMD3 of –107 dBc at 100 MHz, at least 14 dB better than competitive amplifiers.

Additional features include a bandwidth of 2.4 GHz, a slew rate of 3,100 V/µs, a fixed gain of 6 dB, and a recovery time of 7.5 ns max. Housed in an QFN-24 package (with a thermal pad), the THS770006 operates on a 5-V single supply and over the industrial temperature range of –40° to 85°C. Datasheet: www.ti.com/ths770006-pr.
