Op amp offers less than 1-nV/√Hz noise
Designed to work with the company’s precision data converters, including the AD7631 and AD7634, the ADA4898 op amp is especially suited for radar-based collision avoidance, medical instrumentation and other 16-bit and 18-bit precision instrumentation applications. This unity-gain-stable op amp features a broadband noise of less than 1 nV/√Hz, a 1/f noise of 1.2 nV/√Hz at 10 Hz, and a distortion of −110 dBc at 500 kHz.
Particularly suited for 16- and 18-bit systems, the ADA4898 features a high-speed –3-dB bandwidth of 70 MHz, at G = 1 and a slew rate of 40 V/μs. Housed in an 8-lead SOIC, the part has a supply range of from ±5 to ±15 V and a temperature range of −40° to 125°C. ($1.89 ea/1,000—available now.)
