Op-amp output swings to true zero on 5 V

Ideal for driving 16- and 18-bit SAR ADCs, the LTC6360 operational amplifier can swing to 0 V while maintaining high linearity on a single 5 V supply. The part’s integrated low noise charge pump provides an internal negative rail, eliminating the need for a negative supply.Input offset voltage is less than 250 μV max, and noise is only 2.3 nV/√Hz.

The device settles to 16-bits in 150 ns, and achieves a closed loop –3-dB bandwidth of 250 MHz. Harmonic distortion (HD2/HD3) is –103dBc/–109dBc at fIN = 40 kHz. Available in MSOP and 3 x 3 mm DFN 8-pin packages, the op-amp is fully specified over the commercial (0° to 70°C), industrial (–40° to 85°C), and extended (–40° to 125°C) temperature ranges.
