Open-frame supply meets safety needs

The ECM140 open-frame single-output ac/dc power supplies meet the electrical safety standards of both IEC 60601-1 / EN 60601-1 for medical equipment and IEC 60950-1 / EN 60950-1 for industrial and IT equipment. The supplies measure 3 x 5 x 1.3 in. and offer a power density of 7.9 W/in.3

The supplies need only 10-cfm of forced air cooling to achieve the 148-W output. They include a 12-V / 0.5-A fan output as standard. Remote sense is also standard to compensate for voltage drop at the output. If convection cooled, the power supplies achieve a 120-W output. Five models provide 12-, 15-, 18-, 24-, or 48-Vdc outputs.
