Overview of IDT 79S334J (available from IDT)
The joint solution is based on the IDT RC3233x integrated communications processor and the OpenRG embedded software solution. The expandable PCI-based hardware platform enables customers to develop and customize their own implementations using the PCI interface to connect to a broad range of wired and wireless WAN/LAN technologies.
The evaluation system includes the CPU board (79S334) and two PCI-based Ethernet cards (based on Realtek RTL8139C) for WAN and LAN access.
