The CHAMP-AV8 6U OpenVPX rugged high performance SBC/DSP engine is based on a dual implementation of the new quad-core Core i7-2715QE processor. The board has a 21 Gbyte/s (peak) DDR3 memory sub-system, a Gen2 sRIO data plane interface, a Gen2 PCIe expansion plane interface, and DMA offload engines.
The board’s pair of quad-core processors use Intel AVX floating-point instructions and it is rated for up to 269 GFLOPS.
