Compatible with any tunable laser source (TLS), the compact MT9820A all-band component tester measures optical loss. The economical PC-controlled unit can sweep continuously from 1,250 to 1,650 nm to monitor output power and wavelength of four TLSs simultaneously.
With –60 to 0-dBm detection range, and ±1-pm wavelength measurement accuracy, the patented instrument offers analysis rates to 100 nm/s on multi-channel optical components such as OADM, WSS, multiplexers, and interleavers.
