Optoisolated triac fits industrial uses
The MOC2A40-10 is a 2-A/400-Vac zero-crossing, optically coupled triac
that can be driven directly from TTL logic. It is designed specifically to
survive the harsh operating environments inherent in industrial-control
applications. Additionally, its SIP package allows for high-density
mounting on 0.200-in. centers. The package can also handle 2 A at 40
degreesC without needing heat sinks, thermal grease, or isolators. The
MOC2A40-10 is UL recognized; CSA and VDE approvals are in process. ($3.98
