Oscillators extend battery life

Offering reduced heat generation to prolong battery life, the F330A and F330LA series oscillators measure 3.2 x 2.5 mm and 5 x 3.2 mm, respectively. The series F330A and F530LA operate from a 1.800 to 50.000-MHz frequency range, a 3.3-V supply, and a –55° to 125°C temperature range.

The F30LA is also available in a 5.0-V (version F550L) for select portable applications and offers HCMOS output and a standby current of 1 µA. (F330A, 40 MHz, $1.70 ea/2,000—10 weeks ARO.)
