OTDR supports 10-GbE five-wavelength testing

Optimized for 10-Gbit Ethernet networks, the Short-Range LAN (SRL) OTDR for the T-BERD/MTS-6000 and T-BERD/MTS-8000 provides a unique testing combination of up to five wavelengths in both multi-mode and single-mode. Its capabilities include 0.5/2.5-m event/attenuation dead zones and wavelength combinations. The SRL OTDR provides one-button automated OTDR testing.

In addition, the SRL OTDR can be combined with all required connection check options available for the T-BERD/MTS-6000 and T-BERD/MTS-8000: connector inspection (VIP), end-to-end connectivity and trace faults in patch panel cabling (VFL), patch cord testing (LTS), power measurements (LTS), and optical return loss (ORL).
