Outdoor cooler meets telcordia needs

The AA-480 series outdoor cooler protects emergency batteries used in wireless base stations. The coolers protect these critical batteries by providing greater cooling power and increased reliability compared to other units currently on the market. It is designed to pass the Telcordia testing requirements.

The coolers have a coefficient of performance (COP) rating of 1, providing about 50% more efficiency than standard air-to-air units. The series also requires less maintenance, cutting the total cost of ownership as well as the time spent traveling to and from these sometimes remote locations. The thermoelectric cooler is an Air-to-Air thermoelectric assembly (TEA) that uses impingement flow to transfer heat. It cools objects via convection. It has 480 W of cooling power. Input power accommodates a nominal/float voltage of 24/28 or 48/56 Vdc.
