ROLLING MEADOWS, IL – Panasonic Corporation is happy to announce that it is developing a high temperature, long life type Nickel Metal Hydride battery (BK1100FHU, with a Ambient discharge range of -40° C to 85° C). Samples are anticipated to be available December 2016. This battery is suitable for applications requiring high capacity and a wide range of temperatures. This product is ideal for a variety of markets and applications, such as Renewable Energy applications (including Solar Street Lights), tracking, underwater applications, and power sources.
Panasonic will apply its technical expertise and superior technology to further expand the high temperature line-up of this kind of product.
Panasonic rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride batteries are designed to meet the requirement for increasingly higher levels of energy demanded by today’s products. Our Nickel Metal Hydride batteries offer up to three times the capacity of same size standard Nickel Cadmium batteries. Due to their increased capacity and energy density features, users can expect a longer run time between charges and long life.
