PC-board-based controller has high step rate

With an output step rate of 2,500,000 steps/s, the CLC12000 PC-compatible
indexer board generates clock and direction signals for one, two, three,
or four axes of control. The indexer can control speed, ramping, position,
and I/O, with encoder feedback for all axes and a mark pulse input for
precision stopping. The board has TTL/CMOS-compatible inputs and uses a
standard 37-pin D-sub connection. For one and two axes of control, one
slot is required; for three and four axes, two slots are needed. The
stepping speed is independent of computer limitations. Control software is
included. (Single axis, $475; four axes, $1,000–4 to 6 weeks ARO.)
