The first member of the 8-GHz BMR Series PCB connectors for wideband HDTV transmission, the female Type BMR connector can accommodate the bandwidth required for splitting satellite signals. Featuring 75-Ω interfaces rated to 8 GHz, the connectors are engineered to mate only with 8-GHz parts.
Designed to mount to the underside of the PCB, the connectors offer an open-top design and contact-pin placement that enables low overall capacitance. The connector’s precision-machined brass parts have gold-plated contacts to support low return loss and also feature high-density TFE insulator material to maintain a dielectric constant.
